 | Comment from colormepink28 » Posted Apr. 19, 2012 6:20am I have an obsessive compulsive thing when it comes to weighing myself since i gained 80 pounds with my first son i refuse to screw up big like that again. My midwife is a little concerned about my need to know my weight every day only because i had anorexia issues when i was younger and they seem to be resurfacing. Still, i know i need to gain SOME and so far i'm at 14 pounds...so healthy...but in the last few weeks i have seriously packed on the pounds...maybe making up for the fact i had only gained about 9 pounds at week 23. Anyway, maybe our little people don't like electronics? lol My little guy runs away from the doppler and ultrasound. My midwife says he may not like the sound from it that gives them the heartbeat and picture. My first son is super sensitive to loud noises, so its possible, i suppose. So do you guys know the sex yet? Keeping it a secret? A lady in my church hasn't even told her husband what the sex of their baby is and she's 41 weeks today! lol |
 | Comment from T0niMari3 » Posted Apr. 19, 2012 6:03am I refuse to look at the scales any more, last time it said I'd put on about 17pounds :O! My Partner is a musician so he's always drumming on my belly and the little one drums back. It's funny that you say he hates the tablet on your tummy, this baby kicks like crazy at my Mac when I have it resting on my tum. I'm sure your little man is loving the music though! |
| Comment from colormepink28 » Posted Apr. 18, 2012 5:09pm It FEELS like its gotten huge, but your right, it really hasn't gotten much, if any, bigger than about week 22 eventhough i have managed to put on quite a big of weight (3 pounds in just the last week! yikes!). LOL He has been quite active. One of my favorite things is playing music near my belly, he goes nuts. Wish i could tell if he liked it or not. He always "dances" when we are singing in church...so maybe he is musical. Not sure, but he hates when i put my tablet pc on my belly (its super awesome for propping things up now lol)....he tries to kick it off every time. One of my favorite pass times now is watching my belly bump all over. Today he was taking on my ribs (which i must prefer to my bladder). lol |
