Getting frustrated...
By Bostonmama08 » Posted Jul. 20, 2013 2:07pm - 277 views - 3 comments

Cramping and pushing out reddish/brown goop....called my doctor, she called me back....I expressed my extreme frustration with all of this. Where is this blood coming from?? Do I have an infection? Is this why I am feeling so terrible?

My doctor thinks its not an infection because there is no odor or itching....and she does think it is related to the pregnancy. She admitted she is baffled because the ultrasounds have been so good...but she did say anything can change unfortunately with time.

Now I have to call Monday to try to get in to the office. I am just so frustrated with this....its not normal to have a period constantly while you are pregnant.

Have you had an ultrasound? Or your hcg levels checked?

I had a urine test less than a week ago and all was good (at least then). My concern is a cervical or bacterial infection....but I dont have an odor or itching. I really think my doctor feels I will miscarry....because she cant offer any other suggestion. I have some brown spotting now and some very very minor cramps....tired, headache, feeling nauseous....the norm. This is so annoying its not even enjoyable anymore.

That's kinda crazy for her to say. On my urine test the dr found out I had a uti, and I had absolutely no symptoms. No odor or itching. The dr told me pregnancy masks infections, that's why you have to address them early.
