No spotting for a week....and now some brownish/reddish stuff....UGH.

I have been feeling good about the pregnancy....and hopefully that this SCH will just go far, far away. I've had ZERO spotting for over a week....but today, I had some very slight brownish/reddish goop. Not a lot, by any means, but I hate to see color to my discharge. It scares me.

My belly is "growing"....meaning it's getting harder down by my uterus and when I suck in, there is a definite solid bump where the uterus is. My husband can even feel it when I suck in! So, I'm certainly growing....and hoping the SCH is not causing any trouble in there.

I think maybe I am spotting because we've been super busy this weekend...prepping for our camping trip and doing all the shopping. I also cleaned the house yesterday, because with today being my birthday....I wasn't doing shit! So....maybe my cervix got irritated.....who knows. I'd like to think it's because I was super active the last 2 days.....so I'll go with that.

I have also been watching a few Sonoline Fetal Dopplers on eBay....and will purchase one after my weekly round of sonograms and doctor's check-ups this week. I have my 6th ultrasound tomorrow afternoon....thank God....because now I'm just a wee bit worried.

I know SCHs can cause spotting....and simple irritations can cause some spotting....so I'm just chalking this up to being normal....because it honestly was just a little bit when I wiped. No gushing....like it was 3 weeks ago.

Brownish/red color usually means old blood, not fresh, which is good. It's probably just some clotting that was hanging on and broke loose with all your activity lately. I'm glad you're getting a doppler, i got mine from ebay too. I think it's a Sonoline. You will be really happy with the ability to listen and be reassured any time you want.

Hi Britt! Thanks for the bday wishes! It's been a great weekend thus far! I hope to get pics tomorrow for sure....I've gotten them from every u/s so far. The further along ones are more fun....so much more definition to the baby! The one last Tuesday I got to see the baby shimmy around for a moment...that was neat!

Happy Birthday!! I hope everything goes good for you at your ultrasound tomorrow. I am glad you are "growing" :) Maybe you will get some pics tomorrow from your ultrasound?
