Huge gushes of blood again.....really scared...
By Bostonmama08 » Posted Sep. 3, 2013 5:34pm - 319 views - 4 comments

Driving home from work today, I felt a huge gush of fluid come out of me. I lifted my dress and saw red blood everywhere....on my clothes, my underwear. I pulled over, called my OB and they rushed me in for an ultrasound.

Basically, my SCH is active again....and bleeding. Baby is fine, heartrate is fine, cervix closed on both ends....just having another stupid bleed. A heavy period.

There is talk of bedrest for me....but since my doctor had left the office after my phone call, I am going in tomorrow to talk to her. We will discuss everything then.

For now, I am cramping like crazy from the blood....and just back to wondering how the hell I can get through this.

Thinking of you and sending you happy thoughts! Hope that you get good ideas from your doctor on what the next step is!

Not sure if it's getting bigger, it just got re-active. Baby might have kicked the heck out of it and it ruptured. At the u/s yesterday the baby was doing martial arts in the sac.....so I'm thinking the baby's activity might be forcing the clot to be active. There is no real "pelvic rest" with a baby that active! I'm just hoping that's the reason.....

I hope the bleeding stops ASAP and you get good news when you see your doctor today. Bedrest for the rest of your pregnancy would not be ideal, so hopefully it doesn't have to come to that. Keeping you in my thoughts today!

Oh no! I thought it was gradually shrinking and going away? Now it's getting bigger again? I hope they can do something about it! Good luck!
