Two weeks tomorrow!

My Valerie is 2 weeks old tomorrow. I can't believe it! Time is going by so quickly! I took some Christmas photos of her today. I only have the camera on my phone, and it's a sucky one, but they turned out alright. We're going to try and get into the photo studio next week for family photos, but I wanted some of Valerie for now. If the boys cooperate later this evening, I am going to try and snap some of them as well.
I am also only 7 lbs away from my prepregnancy weight already! None of my clothes fit. My maternity pants are way to large, but my pants from before are a little too small still. So I am making due with the maternity pants for now until I can dig out some of my in between clothes. Thankfully, while it is chilly outside, it is not snowing or really cold yet. Just been rainy out, so I've been able to get away with yoga pants and sweats.
We also got some rather bad news today. A friend of ours from church passed away suddenly this morning, leaving behind his wife and daughter. His wife and I have our issues, but he was a very nice, sweet guy. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

One less thing to worry about! :) I hate the inbetween stages where your hips haven't gone back to normal size yet, and you still have a little extra weight. Nothing fits! I would probably do the same as you and just stick with sweats and yoga pants as long as I could. I am a huge fan of fleece lined leggings with sweater dresses right now. Don't know what I would do without them! Probably going to be wearing that most of my maternity leave as well. Lol! Prayers for you friend's family. Very sad to lose someone; especially when it is sudden and unexpected. |
 | Comment from pbc910 » Posted Nov. 30, 2015 12:31pm I can't wait to get some Xmas pics of the twins. Target has a Santa outfit and I am so getting it and then a Mrs Claus type outfit as well. I love that picture of Valerie...she is so cute! I can't wait to see how much I weight, which I find out tomorrow. I am almost able to fit in my regular jeans. I must have been super swollen more than I thought in my hips, thighs, and that whole area because now my maternity pants and shirts/dresses are huge on me. Prayers to your friend's family during this time. |
