New clothes :)

I know it sounds silly to say that clothes make a huge difference, but really...they make a huge difference!!! I finally caved and spent some serious money on maternity clothes yesterday and I have to tell you it has upped my mood and my excitement about this pregnancy a ton! It also helps that I have a distinct baby bump now so I feel like if I wear tighter shirts I actually look pregnant, and not fat. :)

Also, if I'm being honest, I think I've been more scared than excited so far about this pregnancy. This is our first kid, and I have no idea what I'm doing. Of course this is what we wanted and planned for, but when it finally became a reality that we were going to have a baby I guess I picked right then to think of all the things that my husband had already worried about. I'd love to say I've been happy and glowing the whole time I've been pregnant, but that would be a lie. However, I can say that as of yesterday, I actually feel excited about it. Excited about holding our child, taking care of him/her, teaching him/her...all the things I wish I'd been excited about to begin with. I hope this feeling keeps growing. I'd like to not feel so completely terrified by the time our baby is born. :)

On the plus side - 2 more weeks until we find out if it's a little boy or a little girl. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a girl ;)
