The Rainbow After The Storm

After nearly a month (it'll be 30 days on Sunday...) of grieving, watching my family members try to burn one another at the stake, and worrying if I'm already being a bad mother to Caroline, God has finally parted the clouds to let through a little ray of sun. Many of you have read what I've wrote about another of my brother's and his wife, my children's godparents, who have been trying to conceive their first child for six years. Well they completed their second round of IVF on the 19th and I am pleased to announce that, God willing, I will be an aunt again come June! Since they had a poor harvest and only got three healthy embryos, they decided to implant one at a time and there's a 66% chance of it being a girl! Caroline will have a cousin only a few months younger than her and, hopefully, a friend for life. Sebastian is so excited! He's the most baby obsessed little boy I have ever met and it's especially true over baby girls. Thank you, God, for showing me that we are not forgotten. Happy October, ladies!
