Thank you, Lord, we are almost halfway finished with our second pregnancy! I love having babies but I absolutely despise being pregnant. I'm a bit of an adrenal junkie and have spent a great deal of time balancing my health that expecting is a big book of 'NO!' for me. *Sigh* At least I have begun feeling movements, it definitely makes it a great deal easier to bare. We had my twenty week appointment yesterday, a few days early, and we were able to verify that Caroline is indeed still a little girl. She was measuring ten ounces and had a heart rate of 150 bpm. But she was wiggling so much that they couldn't get a clear look at all four chambers of her heart so I have to have another ultrasound done at my next appointment. I don't mind, I love seeing my baby girl. Unfortunately, I also have to do my gestational diabetes test that appointment... I'm not looking forward to it but I'm hoping to pass it in one go like the first time around because I definitely don't want to do the three-hour test. That won't be until November 12th so maybe I can cut down on my sugar intake and increase how much water I get on average before then. What other tips for passing do you lovely ladies have?? Since I'm hopefully about to be on the downhill slide (I'd love if she came at least on time...), I'm hoping to get back to my healthy, organic diet so I'm setting up Caroline for the best start and making it easier for me to get healthy post partum. I never should have stopped but nausea is a wench that refuses to be negotiated with... And I love cookies, man. But I'm already up enough to make me worry. I'm almost the same size now that I was when I delivered Sebastian and I'm only halfway. My only hope at this point is to not gain very much more (don't worry, I'm curvy and have plenty to spare without affecting baby). Wish me luck!

It's really not the sugar you need to worry about. Watch your intake of carbs. I have GD and watching the carbs I eat is friggen hard. Also, the more active you are, the lower your glucose levels should be because you are burning that energy off. That being said, good luck on your test and congrats on being (close) to the halfway point!
