Happy Easter, Ladies!

I am a Christian so I celebrate for a religious reason but, for those that don’t, I hope the bunny was good to you and, for my sisters, He is risen! We have had an interesting weekend. We had about twenty-three people squeezed into our house today for a cookout after church and, since my mother-in-law planned it, it was quite the cluster. Now that everyone is gone, my house is a wreck and I am exhausted. DeWayne is on my poopoo list for allowing this to happen against my wishes but I’m getting him neutered so that should be punishment enough. Hah! But it is Caroline’s first Easter! She was more interested in nursing than anything that came in her basket (clothes, tethers for later, a stuffed bunny and tons of accessories) but Sebastian really got into his. He got his teeball gear (how did the bunny know?!), Legos, tons of candy and toys, all nestled into an upside down Ninja Turtle umbrella. It melts my heart to see his excitement for both that moment and running into church, makes me feel like I’m winning as a mom. I didn’t get my Easter wish but it’s hard to fit a nap into a basket… *Sigh* My girl is actually doing great. She eats, sleeps for two to three hours, and repeats before staying up a little bit and starting over. The only variation at night is the three to four hour stretches of sleep (hallelujah!). It gets a little easier every day, I am so glad to no longer be pregnant (reinforced by those baby bump pictures you ladies keep uploading!) and now I can start looking forward to our trip to Disney! *Squeal* We’re already planning another trip for after Thanksgiving in 2017 with my brothers and their families. It’ll be a lot of fun and it gives me lots of time to save. But I need to get my princess a tiara headband to wear like she had in her newborn pictures. If nothing else, she can wear it to dinner at Cinderella’s castle. I want to get her a fancy dress but I don’t know how well that’ll go over. I hope you all enjoyed your Easter and are excited about a beautiful Spring! Happy Easter!
