Happy Holidays ...almost 27 weeks.

I struggle to stay on top of this site like I did with my first pregnancy. BUT I blame having a crazy two year old for that! plus we have all had horrible colds this month and I am just glad we all recovered before the holidays however its now 3 days till christmas and I have not wrapped a single gift. We drive about 3 hours away to spend the holidays here with my brother and sister in law so we have some family here so far away from the states. But.. I have no packed a thing either. I have not made any cookies to bring like I thought i would. oh well.
Time is honestly FLYING this pregnancy! Ill be 27 weeks on christmas day!
I am still monitoring any symptoms I may have as well as blood pressure etc. Since I had pre eclampsia and hellp syndrome with my son. I do have some swelling today of my hands but nothing too crazy. I checked my bp today... 89/54 . Its been low this whole pregnancy. Much lower than with my first son. By this time with Liam my first son I was already feeling pretty crappy. Swelling slightly with headaches and lots of nausea . I have not had even have the pain and discomfort that I had with him... so far.

The thing that makes me nervous is a lot of my symptoms I should have been paying attention to started about 29 weeks. Which is coming up. By 31 weeks is when things started really going down hill from 32-34 weeks which is when I had Liam. I was miserable. I was very sick. In a lot of pain and what I did not know at the time. Fighting for our lives.

Im still taking low dose aspirin along with my plant based prenatal . 4000 iu's of vitamin D3 , calcium and about 400 mg magnesium this time around. We will see.

I am having braxton hicks. About 3-6 a day but more on days I am bad about drinking water ! I need to keep up on the water but I often forget if i am honest because my son is pretty distracting.

Anyways... ladies and babies.. I hope you have a happy holiday and a happy and healthy new year!!!

Excited to meet my newest son in 2015!

It seems like everyone's been getting sick this winter. Hope that you feel better and everything calms down for you.

It's nice that you have some family to spend time with for the holidays although you're so far away from home!
Glad the pregnancy is still going smoothly. I'd be nervous too to see week 29 coming up, but at least this time you and your doctor know what to look out for. I'm crossing my fingers for you! Happy holidays to you and your family! Wishing you a full-term healthy baby!
