Geez, just call already!

When I was pregnant with E, I remember my doctor's secretary said it generally takes 7-10 days for them to receive NT scan results. Today is day 9 and I'm going crazy. I would call to check, but at this point, I figure I might as well wait until after the 10-day mark. So, Friday.

It probably means all is well, I know, but I will not feel comfortable announcing the pregnancy until I get a confirmation. Plus, if my doctor is waiting for those results to finally request my Level 2 ultrasound, I'd rather that be sooner than later! I've never had a Level 2 scheduled this late in pregnancy, and I keep thinking I will be screwed if they can't fit me in.

Or, which wouldn't be so bad, but still annoying, they'll fit me in at a crazy time, like they did for the fetal MRI. The appointment for that one is at 7:45 AM. Taking into account rush hour traffic, the fact that our daycare opens at 7:00 and that I will certainly not have time to eat before leaving the house, I still don't know how we're going to figure that one out. My boyfriend really wants to be there, although I told him it wasn't necessary - last time, he just stood there in that noisy room while I watched Friends episodes through my goggles. And he doesn't want to take E, which makes sense as it can't be easy to entertain a 16-month old in a hospital. But still. Right now the plan is for me to take the bus at 6:30 and for my boyfriend to drive E to daycare at 7 and then drive through traffic to the hospital, hoping to make it in time.

Other than that, I keep waiting to feel baby move, although it's still early for that, especially with my anterior placenta. I can't help it. Yesterday on the bus, on my way back home, I felt a throbbing in my belly. E never felt like that - with him I felt definite kicks by 17 weeks! But, I just don't know. I also felt like something was gently pushing out a couple of times during the day... still unsure.
