Brain working overtime...

First, my girl's Christmas picture... Still don't know how she got so cute!

Yesterday I was feeling bloated in my uterus and my ovaries ached. Helping my daughter use the potty was torture on my back because she does this thing where she leans when you are trying to help her get the pullup and pants back up. And I was carrying her across the street back to the parking lot after Santa pictures and I don't think I can do that much longer. My 38 pounder. At this rate, we're going to HAVE to move her to a bed, because I won't be able to get her in and out of the crib. Does anyone else have an almost 3 year old who hasn't figured out how to get out of the crib and so therefore he/she is still in a crib? Because that is ours. She climbs everything else but hasn't figured out how to get out of the crib.

We started thinking names. For a girl I'm really wanting Margaret (Maggie) Robin. First name is just because I want a Maggie and the middle name is of a very dear friend that we lost to cancer in 2014. If she were still here, she would be this new baby's god mother. Other possibilities are Lilly, Lucy, Lorelai (Rory for short, but we don't think our families will go with this one...), Charlotte (Charlie), Ivy, and Anne (Annie). Our toddler would get a kick out of having a "Baby Margaret" just like Daniel Tiger too... so I think we are leaning that way. For a boy, our choice with our first was Alexander (Lex) James. We both just liked Alexander, and James is my father's middle name. I also really like James (Jamie), Oliver, Edward, and Rory (hubby doesn't like this one for a boy). If we don't go with Alexander James on this one, the middle name will be Robin... again to honor our friend. Hubby likes to say we're going to go with Coco Kiki as a name, because our last name starts with a K and it would be an awful name with all those hard "C" first sounds. It's been a long running joke for us.

I did the gender prediction tool today... it says boy, just like it did with our first. However, I really feel like these things go in cycles. When I was pregnant with our daughter, everyone was having girls.... right now everyone is having boys... and I'm a little worried. I'm not sure what to do with a boy, and my husband desperately wanted a daughter the first time, and again wants another. We'll see what happens... we saved all of Molly's clothes and toys, but most might not be useful since she was a winter baby and this one will be summer... but, you never know.

And of course I am thinking of the room. The office aka "Mom's craft room" will become Pickle's room (that is what I am calling the little one. :0) ) It is painted a bright blue that I love, but is super tiny. The blue is fine (not really big on typical "gendering" of things, Molly's room theme is Marvel superheroes as she was named after one.) And I'm thinking dinosaurs. We love love love The Laurie Berkner Band, and you can order wall decals from her website of the cutest dinosaurs to go with her "We are the dinosaurs" song. My MIL makes quilts, so we'll probably get one from her. She made the most gorgeous one for Molly, and also made one for her "big girl bed". We can move the crib from Molly's room into Pickle's, and get her a twin bed, and then when it is time for Pickle to get a twin bed, move the crib back to Molly's room because it converts to a full size and it would NOT fit in the blue room.

Ugh, I so want to be able to tell my mom to talk about these things!!!!! It is such a trial to not tell her.... I already told my bff at work because I had her verify the pictures of my tests, and then I had to tell my best friend (godmother to Molly), but don't tell my husband. I so want to tell my mom and MIL and aunt.
