Oy, I need a vacation...

So, husband has decided that this isn't morning sickness bothering me. My wrist bands have done nothing. None of my candies have done anything. EVERYTHING makes me sick, even water. But, he said that our daughter had diarrhea and vomiting the other night. He has had diarrhea and nausea, and so have I. So he has decided that it is a stomach bug.

In our daughter being sick, she just turned 3 last week. Up until Thursday night, she had only ever vomited once, and that was in the middle of the night once last year and she didn't even know she did it. Thursday my mother took her to the dr and she was diagnosed with an ear infection and a severe upper respiratory infection. Kiddo then had diarrhea all night and then vomited up the Motrin at bedtime. Totally freaked her out because it was all over herself, all over my mother, and all over the floor. I only hope she doesn't get the vomiting fear my husband has....

I was so thankful my mother and aunt came over yesterday afternoon when I was so sick because i was afraid the kiddo would see me getting sick and then get scared. And today the kiddo is so miserable because she is still sick and so exhausted because she coughs most of the night. She napped for 3 hours, but every "No" or "stop" was met with whining tonight and bedtime was just such a fight. Just now she was screaming and when I went in she was upset because she pulled her own nighttime diaper off. Ugh....

Anyway, today I had a bagel, some tater tots, and a whole bunch of apple juice. Tonight it is some low sodium chicken broth and ginger ale.

Tonight is also rooting for the Panthers, because they are my team in the office pool. If they win tonight, I win at least $10. If they win the Superbowl, I get $50.

So I am planning my 35th birthday. Last year I was gifted a whole day all alone. Husband went away to game with friends. Mom took the kiddo, and I sat home and crafted, wrote, watched Kimmie Schmidt and drank sparkly purple alcohol. This year, I am going away for a night to NYC with some friends and doing a double show of Sleep No More and the McKittirick Follies. Probably my last trip because of the Pickle and how I'd feel super guilty leaving my husband alone with two children overnight.

Woo hoo Panthers!!!

And she is feeling a little better, just exhausted and spoiled from being pampered while being sick.
