Went in for my check up yesterday. Saw a doctor for the first time this pregnancy, and luckily it was the only one I like!
She confirmed a big boy (5lbs, 11oz as of Monday). I'm measuring at 37 weeks. They are planning on inducing or scheduling a c-section at 37-38 weeks... so the last week of July or the first week of August. She also has be coming in twice a week for growth ultrasounds and NSTs (one day is ultrasound and the other is NST, and my appointment will be the second of those two appointments)
Expressed my concerns and anxieties over a c-section, and she said they would rather avoid one but if it is needed it is needed. Discussed my ppd from last time and she wants to monitor that at every appointment as well to see if they need to start anything before birth.
Love that I feel so comfortable with my office (aside from hating all but 1 of the doctors). Then they had 2 receptionists trying to fit me in for next week, and they both spent 10 minutes looking for an appointment. I have to go to their other office (30 minutes away), but they could fit me in for everything at one time. These ladies are definitely getting a muffin basket after I give birth for dealing with all this....
