Baby Shower
The shower was thrown by a group of my husband's childhood friends. The weather was SO nasty - ice and rain and 28 degrees! - so the turnout wasn't what we expected. The few of us that did show up had the best time, though!I'm so humbled and grateful. We received everything we possibly could have asked for (swing, playpen, bouncer, travel system, glider, even a handmade bassinet from FIL!) and we will be wanting for nothing. All we'll have to purchase at this point are diapers and wipes - AMAZED! Everyone was so generous. I cried twice, in the best possible way.

Found Out Baby's Gender
After having ourselves convinced that it was a girl... there's no denying that it's a BOY! I would have been thrilled either way but am so pumped - my DH wanted a boy so badly!We started making phone calls to family the second we walked out of the doctor's office. :)

NT Scan
Any measurement less than 3mm is good, and we were sitting pretty at between 0.91mm and 1.21mm. The fDNA results for Down's were 1:>10,000 and the fDNA results for the trisomys were 1:>10,000. Essentially, it looks like we have a healthy LO in there!On July 19, 2013 at 12 weeks 1 day pregnant

Transvaginal ultrasound. Baby bean measuring 6d behind (9w5d). HB - 174! Officially moved the due date from 1/24/13. Scheduled a tentative date for repeat c-section on January 22, 2014.On June 14, 2013 at 8 weeks 0 days pregnant
Told My Boss About My Pregnancy

He is the one that encouraged me to go POAS. I brought it out and handed it to him. He briefly glanced at it and said, "Oh well, maybe tomorrow." I said, "What are you talking about? That's positive!" to which he responded (without looking at the test again) "Darlin', one line means negative."
