i took my babies out the day we went home from the hospital. as long as you're comfortable, go with your gut instinct. if it's cold, make sure to keep baby wrapped up warmly. congrats!

It's when you feel comfortable. Just make sure if anyone wants to touch your baby make them sanitize their hands.. Since you did have a c section just be careful

I took my babes out whenever I felt stir crazy or getting cabin fever. Just out to get coffee/smoothie or stop by the book store. Little errands like that. Nothing too dramatic or too long should be fine. It doesn't really snow where I lived so little outtings were bearable.

Yea having the baby out during the cold seasons isnt such a great idea....especially with everyone out there having the flu & colds...babies immune systems just are strong enough to fight it off. I had a spring & summer baby & now I'm having a winter baby & I will make sure this baby isn't anywhere near sick people or yucky weather.

My son was born the very end of December and because our winters are pretty cold and snowy i didn't take him anywhere for the first 4 weeks! Everyone is different but that's when i felt most comfortable, also some people wait until baby has the first needles.
