Def. talk with the Dr. to make sure no harmful effect to baby... on a different note, I was prescribed Arnica for post breast augmentation and I have to say it is amazing for the swelling, tastes like crap tho lol.

So.. I just did a couple searches on Arnica... and I see where a lot of women do use it before/after delivery. Mostly vag deliveries, though. The drug info says it is an anti-inflammatory that can be a uterine stimulant and they don't recommend it during pregnancy, but I guess since folks are taking it after its okay? I'd still ask my doctor, and I surely wouldn't take it before my section.... good luck to you!

I didn't take Arnica... I'm not even sure what that is, but I wouldn't take anything that isn't advised by your doctor or anesthesiologist. You def don't want anything to adversely effect your epidural/spinal and anesthesia.
