The web links came through a little funny but you can google search braxton hicks versus labor anger lots of info to help you. The contractions sound like Braxton hicks but the doctors don t like the pressure you feel, but if relaxing and having a snack or drink stops it, they are inconsistent etc it is most likely Braxton hicks but I would mention it to your doc so they do an internal check just to see how things are going, a little effacing or dilation is ok but should be tracked to be safe :)

My latent labor was intense was and mt Braxton hicks were often string and painful. If you are u sure it is always safest to discuss with your doctor but hopefully the above links will give you some useful insight into your situation and help you feel more empowered and prepared :) good luck and best wishes to you and your little one

I am not experienced but this sounds like braxton hicks to me. I started getting them at 19 weeks. My whole front uterus tightens and hardens for about 1-2 minutes. They are not painful though when they start. For me *different for everyone* for about 10 seconds feels like ever so slight period cramps then it hardens up and tightens sometimes feeling like a ball on one side or the other. However you say you do have pressure with it.... If they are braxton hicks they will usually improve with rest. Drink also a LOT of water. When you rest the best way to lay will be your left side they should improve. If they are not improving and your still feeling pressure after resting / resting on your left, drinking lots of water, and or taking a warm bath then i would start timing them and call your doctor or L&D. Hope this helps! :) I had no idea what they were either at 19 weeks but now I get em all the time. As long as they are irregular your ok.
