Q: Just have a feeling......- Labour coming

This might sound strange but since last night I've been having the most uncanny feeling that labour is around the corner.
I am 34 weeks today, so starting the 35th week.
I currently have a C-section scheduled for 21 June which is exactly a month from today.
A lot of my friends (already mothers) don't think I'm going to make it to my due date (although I KNOW it's only another person's opinion..)

Perhaps it's just because labour COULD be coming soon?
Or because my body has started the process (which I know could take a few weeks) of preparing for labour..?

Any thoughts..?

Thats so funny b/c I am almost 37 weeks pregnant and have felt like that for a couple days. I didn't have that feeling with my first pregnancy and my dauhter was 9 days early. This time, I just have a feeling that it is right around the corner. I can also feel my body "preparing"...alot of Braxton Hicks, some cramping, alot of loose bowel movements (gross, I know, but common before labor). I always say trust your motherly instiinct but don't drive yourself nuts with it! THat baby will come when its ready and it will be perfect :0

I felt like that with my first, then went 6 days late! I think the excitement and knowledge that baby is able to be born healthy makes us feel ready, which might make it feel like its gonna happen! At least you know you wont be going past the 21st of June :) On the other hand, maybe you are ready and will be holding that sweet baby in no time!

It could be the "Nesting" instinct kicking in. Its natures way of making sure the mother has everything in order for when the baby does arrive. It also could just be excitement and nerves, only a few more weeks until your baby is here!
