By 2,000 ui/mL there is suppose to be a gestational sac. But, it's up to your doctor to diagnose the outcomes on a case by case basis. I'd be concerned that your doctor didn't even talk to you about any of what is going on right now. Good luck.

What did your doctor say about it?

how far along were you when you had the ultrasound ? I have heard alot of cases where they dont see anything in the sac, and check again in a couple weeks and sure enough see a little heartbeat.

As long as your HCG levels are that high, i would stay positive. they may retest to see if your levels are getting higher or dropping, that would be a better indicator of a viable pregnancy then an ultrasound at such an early stage, good luck!! xxx
