i vote gravity to get that babies head pushing and stretching your cervix, so stay as upright as you can.
Whenever i eat pineapple my baby gets really active, so maybe try something like fruit or juices to get him/her moving to encourage things along. Good Luck x

I was dialated to a 3 for three weeks with my daughter.....I tried everything from walking miles and miles to eating spicy food, and entire pineapple, having sex....none of it worked and it all caused me pain or heartbuarn lol! I believe the baby comes when they are ready...however the walking is very good for your labor so I would keep that up. Good luck hon!

If you feel up to it, you could have sex. How far along are you? I had intermittent labor like that for several days before I went into actual labor.
I'd highly recommend resting while you can until your body amps up the labor more.
