Q: I just had a miscarriage at 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Can I take Clomid now while I'm bleeding?

I just had a miscarriage at 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I am having a period though. I am sure it's from the baby coming out but if I was just a woman with a normal 28 day cycle then I would think it was a period and I would prob. take Clomid on my third day of the cycle which would be today. So is this a good idea? Pointless? Bad idea...?

I would say, wait for this cycle to end and try clomid on the next cycle, let your body clean itself out and wait for a fresh new cycle. Also def chat to your doctor. Good luck hun, sorry for your loss.

I would talk to your doctor. Most want you to wait till you have at least your first cycle after m/c before trying again. At least that is what mine had us do and we got pg that cycle (m/c at 13 weeks in March). You really want to give yourself time to grieve and your body time to heal. I am so very sorry for your loss.
