Q: How do I know when pelvic pressure is impending labor and not just baby shifting ??????

Im 31 weeks pregnant (after 2 first trimester losses) The past few days I have had an increase in pelvic pressure, sharp stabbing pains in my cervix and some abdominal pain ... although I dont think its contractions, how do I know when its too much and a sign of labor ? I have had a cerclage placed so the drs dont want labor to really start before its removed,Im a newbie and have no clue whats normal and what isnt.
Pls help !!!
thanks in advance
