Evening primrose oil
take 3 tablets by mouth 2x per day also insert 4 into your vagina before bed ( be sure to wear a panty liner as the oil can leak out) the oils help soften your cervix

Today is my due date! Not much happening.
There are 2 steps. The first is to ripen the cervix and get it soft. I've read that mild nipple stimulation and eating fresh pineapple help that. The postglandalins in semen also help, as does evening primrose oil. The second part is establishing labor with regular contractions. Longer, regular nipple stimulation can help with that and so can havng an orgasm (both activties cause you to release oxytocin). There's also a recipe for stong ginger cookies that's supposed to help. I couldn't use that because I'm gluten-free, but I've been eating GF ginger cookies from the store and notice I seem to have more practice contractions after eating them.
