Q: Has anyone ever had a 'missed' miscarriage twice in a row?

I am scared of it happening again, so I was wondering how common it is to have a missed miscarriage twice in a row.....

does anyone know if there are symptoms of a missed miscarriage? I didn't get sick everyday that time , unlike with my daughter, it hit at 6 weeks and was there everyday like clockwork until around 4 months. I just thought last time that I was having a boy since I wasn't too sick. And when I was sick, it was just one, for a few minutes and not off and on all day like with my daughter.

Have any of you noticed a difference in morning sickness between having a girl and having a boy?

I had two in a row... one in December @ 10 weeks and one in April @ 9 weeks. The doctor said (and I quote) 'it's nothing to worry about you are just extremely unlucky'. Helpful huh? I am now 11 weeks pregnant again and everything seems fine.

I, havent read anything to support the old wives tale about boys making you less sick... but what I have read which seems slightly more scientific is that because of hormone levels different people feel different levels of sickness at different times. I asked everyone on here when there worst week for morning sickness was - 90% of people said week 10... but for me it was week 6. So everyone is different.

I have been an absolute nervous wreck this time, bit consoled myself with the following to reassure myself:

* Is my weight staying the same or going up every week (when i miscarried before, I dropped 4lbs a week before)
* Is my tummy grwoing? (about a cm a week)

Can you get an early scan? For reassurance?
Good luck!
