My daughter measured almost 2 weeks ahead and she was born on time (if they would have gone by my cycles it would have been the due date) otherwise babies grow at different rates and the baby will be born when he/she wants to be born.

Scan arnt accurate as babies from about 10 wks grow differently thu have a range to go by they cause be up to 2wks either way early or late I know with DD they said the day she was born the scan measured her at 36 wks but as so as she was born they all said nop she is definatly 34 . It is to hard to pinpoint gestational age with a scan unless u know all your date I you've had ivf

my son was measuring ahead and i ended up going into labor at exactly 37 weeks :) he was 7 pounds 12 ounces, perfect size and showed every sign of being ready for the world.... i was induced with my daughter at 40 weeks and she was only 6 pounds,,, nurses said she could have used another week or 2 in the womb. i think every baby is different and thats why they say pregnancy goes from 38-42 weeks. some only need the 38 and some need full 42

Probably not! I know my belly has been measuring 6-8 weeks ahead, so they sent me for growth ultrasounds. They said the chance of them actually inducing early is slim to none :(

No. Its totally normal to measure 1-2 weeks ahead or behind. All babies grow at different rates, some are bigger, some smaller.
