Q: This miscarriage bleeding just won't stop!!

Had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks 1 month ago. Took misoprotol and bled for 2 weeks, and also ended up in the hospital with endomitritis during that. I've been out of the hospital and finished my antibiotics for 2 weeks now, and the bleeding and stopped, only to come back heavy and red a couple days ago. I've already had complications with this miscarriage, so now I'm not sure if it's normal to be bleeding so heavy so soon. My hubby thought it might just be my period, but the blood is more clotty than a regular period so I'm confused. Any ideas??? Is this normal for miscarriage bleeding to come and go over a months' time? Thanks :)

I had a mc on the 21 november 2011 at 11 weeks I bled heavily till January 11th then had a light period on the 24th to the 28th then had 2 weeks of no bleeding then bled very heavily with huge clots till February 18th went to the hospital and got given tablets, had mid cycle spotting and irregular periods very heavy until may when they finally went back to normal. I just think everyone is different, I was filling pads every 30 minutes it was horrid, so deffo go the dr if its as heavy as that.

yes it took about 2 months for mine to get "normal" but was heavier than b4 i got pregnant...i started trying again while still bleeding crazy cuz i was getting positive opks,,,so stupid bc then i ended up with positive hpt and lingering or possibly new hcg and was told possibly another miscarriage. sounds normal tho,if u bleed more than a pad an hour call dr,mine got very close to that n i went back in n they just checked by ultrasound and exam that there was nothing left or that came back... u r in my thoughts , stay strong
