Q: I think my mucus plug has gone!

Im 4days overdue and have been loosing my mucus plug for the past 2 days. How long after you loose your mucus plug do you go into labour? No other symptoms other than really bad back ache and hips seem to crunch when I attempt to walk.

I lost my mucous plug on a Friday night and went in to labor the following Saturday afternoon. Our son was born at 11pm that same night. For me, it happened fast after losing my plug. Have you called your doctor? He or she was want to check if you are dilating and effacing.

I was in early labour when my mucus plug went, so that doesn't really hep you but there is a chance that you could be in early labour right now hopefully as being overdue is no fun good luck xxx
