Q: Painful sex after D&C now bleeding....

I lost my bub at 10 weeks and had to undergo a D&C for a missed misscarage, I am using a fertility clinic and had all the procedure done there so i had some familiar faces, My fertility doctor told me to obstain for 1 week following to procedure, once one week clicked over we were right back into it, i also have a retroverted uterus which has mad sex painful sometimes even before i got pregnant, the first time wasnt that enjoyable i found myself trying to avoid any position that may cause pain and then 1 week and 3 days after D&C we tried again only to have really bad pain and had to stop! Now i am blleding again, i live 8 hrs from town so getting a check up isnt really possible i am going back in to town in 6 days,i know the damage is done now but i am worried about infection or maybe somthing else, anyone who has had this please let me know your experience or any advice will be much appreciated!

the bleeding may just be from ur body trying to regulate itself again. i bled off n on after my d and c and i also started bding a week after

I only spotted for 3 days afyer D&C so i must be a lucky one, but the blood is brown now so thats a good thing. thanks for the advice and i hope it clears up without any major problems

only thing I can suggest is telling your care provider, they will probably say give it another 2 weeks, I kept ringing mine every 2 weeks and all they said was give it another 2 weeks everytime. hope u dont bleed as long as I did. I got tablets off my hospital to slow the bleeding down and thin it out as I had clots to.

I was told not to have sex until the bleeding stopped encase it causes infection, I bled for about 7 to 8 weeks solid, so we couldnt have sex at all, but it was the last thing on my mind anyway, the constant bleeding jst depressed me even more.
I also have a uterus like yours an sex is painful most of the time for me unless I get on top then its not as bad.
after I bled for weeks I stopped bleeding for 2 weeks then we had sex in that space of time, then I had my first normal period for 3 days, then another week of no bleeding then bled for the whole month of February very badly, I had to go the ER, by April my periods were back to there 28 day cycle an I got pregnant again the end of May. U may find the bleeding has nothing to do with sex but just a hormone imbalance, thats what mine was, some people stop bleeding a week after there D&c an there periods go back right away but some are not so fortunate.
