Q: Ladies whose cervix didn't thin or dilate at 35 weeks delivered late?

I had an ER visit today because I thought I was having contractions. The doctor checked my cervix and she told me that my cervix wasn't thinned out yet and it was still hard. Now I'm wondering would my baby be born past due date? Did any of you ladies still had a hard cervix and delivered early? I'm 35 weeks.

I think you have a good chance of going over due if its your first baby. it might help if you started taking Evening Primrose Oil to help soften your cervix
