Q: When I cough my pelvic area feels very sore.

Okay ladies, for those of you that may have read my posts before as you know I am going through a miscarriage my betas are down in the 11000 range from the 20000 range. I still have not passed any tissue, and if i go by my last period i am 10 weeks. Here is my question I've opted to go natural instead of getting a D&C done. But, now i'm getting a little worried when I cough down by my pubic area (inside of coarse) it feels very sore, I wish I knew how to explain the pain better but I don't. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I don't want to call my doctor now so if anyone can help that would be great.. BTW spotting since last tues with pretty bad cramps at times but no clots or tissue....Thank you girls

Thank you ladies for responding, i did go to my doctors today he did another beta. That is soo great that you are still pregnant with the twin! Wish my luck was as good as yours. So, he did an internal and told me my cervix was still closed. this pain is ferocious. i don't know how i am going to do it. :(

I am sooo sorry for your loss. When I misscarried last time I had a similar issue. The soreness could be sign of an infection or that the tissue is starting to soften and getting ready to deattach from your uterus. (Hopefully the second). If it doesn't feel better soooooon I would call your doctor. They always know what's best. I respect you for not getting the D&C by the way. Odd story short, if I hadn't opted for natural I wouldn't be holding a twin of the baby I misscarried...

Very sorry for your loss. I had a m/c at 8 weeks last year and we went with a d&c just becuase didnt want to risk anything. I would def get ahold of your doctor and see what they think. Again wish you the best and hope for a safe recovery.

Hi hun i am very sorry for your loss.xx but from what you say it sounds like you may have an infection and the area is inflamed i would call the doc and see what he surggests is best for you. I had a mc at 7weeks and the doc didnt think everything came away so i was going to be sent for a scan but the bleeding started again but i was put on antibiotics because my womb was inflamed due to infection and like you i felt very sore. Please call your doc hun and gl.xxxx
