Q: Anyone have a successful induction with cytotec?

My doctor scheduled an induction at 39+2 for tuesday starting with cytotec and if I make progress then he will use pitocin but if I don't make progress with the cytotec then he is going to send me home to wait a bit longer so that I don't end up with a c-section. At all of my appointments I've been closed, not dilated at all. Anyone have any success with cytotec for an induction? I'm really worried I won't progress and will have to go home.

I can't speak for your exact situation, but they used cytotec on me for my TFMR and it worked just fine. It did take some time for the contractions to really start.
