Q: 14 weeks and bleeding

I woke up this morning with a lemon sized patch of dark red/brown blood in my underwear. No clots or tissue. I haven't had any pain. Everything looked great at 12 weeks for my sequential screen.

I'm going to see the doctor at 1030 for an ultrasound. That's an hour and a half away.

Anyone have any stories of successful pregnancies with bleeding at 14 weeks?

Thanks so much for the posts, ladies.

Everything turned out fine. Baby is alive, well and growing appropriately. The placenta is where its supposed to be and looks good. My cervix is long and closed. They couldn't find any cause for the bleeding. The doctor's best guess was a subchorionic hemorrhage sometime last week that's already healed itself.

Now I have a headache from all the terror and crying.

Unfortunately I'm 10w into my first pregnancy, so I don't have any success stories to share. However, you will definitely be on my mind and in my prayers. Also, what has your doctor told you about bleeding? Mine said not to worry too much unless there's either A) A LOT of blood, B) A LOT of pain, or C) If I'm bleeding any bright pink or bright red - just like if I cut my arm on something. Any other colors can mean different things. So it sounds like it might be a good sign if it's more brownish - because that's old blood.

Please let us know how things go when you a get a second! Sticky Vibes!!!
