Q: threatened miscarriage?

went to the ER this morning because I woke up and went to the bathroom and when I got back in bed right before I was going to turn over to go back to sleep I felt a huge gush of blood and it soaked my sheets. The ER said my cervix is still closed but the ultrasound showed no fetal pole or heartbeat. I will be 6 weeks tomorrow. Cramping really bad and still bleeding some but not as much as before. Took my hcg levels and they were 10,200 and are supposed to be around 22,000 by 6 weeks. :(

They called it a threatened miscarriage. Anyone ever had this and went on to have a healthy baby? I am so freaked out...I've never miscarried before. :(
