Q: Due date today no baby and membrane sweep today?

I was just wondering this is my 3 baby but first time i had a sweep doctor told me i was going to have some bleeding. Or pain but nothing yet. Is this supposed to work rigth away? Or not, i know its not the same for everyone and dont start labor for everybody. But if you had any expirience let me know how it went:) thank you

I have 4 children I had sweeps with 2, the first was when I was a week od still no baby a week later so had to be induced. Second I had a sweep at 39 weeks to try speed labour up due to trying fir vbac after 3 sections, I went into labour the day after my due date. So none of my sweeps worked.
