I really don't think the advise 'if you aren't cramping then you are probably fine' is right. I had a missed MC at 9 weeks with NO cramping what so ever and only very slight brown spotting.

I had the same thing at 8 weeks. Dr put me on bedrest and I had appt next day. Turned out my progesterone level was half of what it is suppose to be and I had started to hemorrage. Meds to up level and we will be 6 months the day after Christmas. I was told that some bleeding can be normal in first timester and I had no cramping. Best of luck to you! I would def call your OB and get checked out just to be on the safe side.

If you arent cramping then you are probably fine. I have had a miscarriage at 6 weeks back in july and I remember that there was cramping and the blood flow started light and went heavier and heavier. Also, my breasts stopped being sore almost right away. If I were you, I would go to the ER right away. If you arent miscarrying, at least you will be able to put your mind at ease. Remember its not good to stress and right now you and that baby are most important. Better safe than sorry.
Also, to ease your mind, your body IS going through a LOT of changes and stuff like this should be expected and also carefully monitored. I am 4 weeks and a few days along had I had very light spotting the day after I was due for AF and I was freaking out (specially since last time I miscarried) but I kept telling myself to relax. Aparently I was just bugging out bc my cm was entirely white like a hour later.. Just go to the ER to put your worries to rest. Good luck to you! Im sure you will be fine.

I have had slight spotting and brown discharge and mild cramping the past 2 weeks (currently i am 8+5 weeks). I went to the ER had a scan and was told it was nothing to worry about. It is common in early pregnancy as the baby is settling and your body is changing. I was told by the U/S Nurse that the only time i should worry is if the cramps are SEVERE and blood is dripping down my leg and won't stop. Hope that helps. Its natural to worry, I am the worst at it ... I nearly 9 weeks and i've already had 2 ultrasounds because i'm paranoid ! Good Luck!

I went straight to the ER when I had bleeding at 7.5 weeks. They checked my cervix and ultrasound. They found a subchorionic bleed. all is well, baby is fine, and now I'm 21+ weeks! I thought it was a miscarriage then cause I had a lot of blood. It was all brown though and no cramping.

Don't worry! How far along are you. At 9 w4d I had some bleeding and went to the ER. They did a scan and found that I had a minwr sub chorionic bleed, which is nothing to worry about apparently(according to my OB, the u/s tech and the ER doc). The baby was fine, moving around...I'm now 14w3d and no more bleed. Also, rule of thumb, you should only worry if it's bright red blood and you have cramps. But call your OB if it gives you piece of mind.* luck and prayers*
