Q: MINIMAL SUBCHORIONIC HEMMORHAGE

I was diagnosed with minimal subchorionic hemmorhage at 5 weeks. I am 9 weeks now and had scan . My baby is ok with heartbeat of 172 bpm and growing normally. My concern is my brown tinged spotting only when i wipe. Is that "normal" when u have minimal subchorinoc hemo? I want to hear from others who sufferered same thing and delivered healthy babies. I had 2 mc this year and i am really in big fear losing this one. :(

I had 3x2. SCH with my first. Was put on pelvic rest for six weeks when I had two bright red bleeds. Now have a beautiful 20 month old girl. My SCH had disappeared by 20 week scan (first recognized just shy of 8 weeks) Best of luck I know the uncertainty feeling and hope this appeases some of your fears

Ps drink lots of water and take it very easy

I have a 9cm x 0.7cm SCH (subchorionic hematoma) next to my baby...SCH is anterior and the placenta is posterior. I have had my SCH since I was 6 weeks pregnant. I have had 2 huge bleeding episodes with weeks of red/brown spotting in between. I am now 20 weeks pregnant and being constantly monitored by my OB/GYN and a perinatologist (high risk specialist).

There is an AMAZING support group over on Baby Center specifically with women that have SCHs or have had SCHs and now have healthy babies. It is a great place for all the answers you need....and I am on there almost daily.
