She said she has seen these turn around and end up being vital pregnancies and that it could "go either way". I asked if the baby just wasn't easy to find in the ultrasound and her response was that the equipment was very accurate. I had one tiny bit of spotting last week and have had minor cramping since the beginning, which can be signs of normal pregnancies.
Have others had threatened blighted ovums that turned around at this point? The waiting is obviously very hard.

Q: need hope stories - possible blighted ovum at 7weeks
I'm 7 weeks and they can see the gestational sac only. No yolk sac, no fetal pole, no embryo. She said the sac was perfectly shaped and high in the uterus. There were 3-4 flickery dots like things inside the sac which she said might be a yolk sac or fetal pole that was trying or had tried to form. They did an hcg blood test that will be back tomorrow and I go for another ultrasound in a week. She said she has seen these turn around and end up being vital pregnancies and that it could "go either way".
