Q: Baby's heartbeat did not find in doppler but seen in transvaginal

We had a check up yesterday ( 10 weeks preggy) and my dr tried to use a doppler to hear baby's heartbeat but did not find one, we had a quick scan thru transvaginal ultrasound and we saw a healthy heart beating, is that normal ?

Yes normal. I could see how you would get a little scared. They found my girls heartbeat at 10 weeks but I guess she was in the perfect position.

Totally normal. My OB wouldn't even try until after 12 weeks with the doppler because this happens all the time and it's unfair to mommy!

My home Doppler picked up my last baby at 9 weeks, and this one at almost 8 weeks, but my doctor didn't find it until 12 weeks. Where the baby is implanted can really make a difference too, or if the placenta is in the way. As long as you're seeing on u/s, I wouldn't worry about it.

At my 12 week my midwife couldn't find the heartbeat, it freaked me out but realized after a quick scan it was because she loved to move constantly and still does. Your welcome :) after a couple more weeks a lot of your worry will go away :)

Very normal. Most Doppler's can't pick up the heartbeat until 12-14 weeks. No worries.

Pretty normal some dopplers can't pick it up until at least 12 weeks.
