Same thing happened to me. I went in for a 9w3d ultrasound and they found a 6w embryo with no HB. I was shocked, I went into denial, I thought they had to be wrong. They offered to do a D/C and I got angry, I mean how dare they tell me my baby was dead then ask to scrape it out!? I chose to m/c naturally in case they were wrong but at about 12 weeks my worst fear was realised when I miscarried very painfully at home.

I feel for you, I am now 7w 2d with my first pregnancy after the m/c and I have an u/s tomorrow. I am nervous to see a heartbeat :( You're in my thoughts, just remember you can try again and chances are everything will be okay the next time around, my doctor said it's rare to have a missed m/c more than once.

I completely understand where you are coming from as my second pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage. I had no idea my baby died. My HCG levels were excellent, I was having extreme symptoms. This pregnancy they've only been mild. But I was not expecting that outcome at all. I also didn't believe it and got a second opinion that confirmed what my first doctor said. Hope all turns out good for you though.

I had no pain, no symptoms, no idea that I had lost the pregnancy. They confirmed it with an ultrasound. If this is the case for you, then truly my sympathies.

Hate to say it is a missed miscarriage. That happened to me last year at 12 weeks, the baby had died at 9 weeks and i had no bleeding or anything. I really hope that is not the case for you though :(
