Q: Any advice appreciated ladies. X

Hi everyone, so you were all so helpful with me first time round with my little girl so I'm hoping to get some advice second time round. I got my BFP around the 23rd of January, all together I took 14 tests because I wanted to see some progression but didn't really get much. All my tests were pretty light. I did however get 3 positive digi's which put my mind to rest about the light lines. Anyway on the 31st of January I began bleeding off and on, it began with some brown mucus and ended up bright red. Fast forward 3 days and I'm still bleeding off and on. I had my bloods drawn today and will have them drawn again tomorrow to see if I have any hcg and if I do, if it's progressing. My question is, I'm still getting the same faint positive lines on HPT's and I've been in no pain with the bleeding. My breasts are still sore to touch and I'm still exhausted too. What do you think is happening to me? Any advice or input is much appreciated. I don't get my blood results until Friday.

Thanks to Sunny33 and estone for your answers, sadly I got my results back today and my levels are very low - doctor said to low for a viable pregnancy. She has confirmed that I have miscarried. Just thought I would update you both. Thank you again and I hope to be here again very soon with a new healthy pregnancy. Good luck to you both xx

Thanks Estone - yes sadly I think so too. This will be the second chemical I have had. Just holding onto hope that maybe I have good levels - then again, there's not a part of me that thinks I will have. It's just hope. Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it x

It sounds like it might be a chemical pregnancy. I had one in 2011 before I had my son and I had the same symptoms you are having. Hoping it's not and your levels increase.

Thank you, yes a big part of me believes my hcg levels will be at 5 or lower but even if it comes back as that, then I will know my hormones are back to normal and I can try again. Thank you. Xx

It honestly could go either way. I was still having pos pregnancy tests two weeks after my last missed miscarriage. I took cytotec at 13 weeks because there was no longer a heartbeat. I wanted to try again right away but it took a very long time for my levels to go back to normal. Not trying to freak you out but even after the baby passed there was still enough hcg to turn a test pos. good luck I hope all turns out to be healthy and normal
