Q: Getting pregnant after a chemical miscarriage?

Hi ladies, so I know this is a site for pregnant woman - but I have a few good friends on this site and feel much more comfortable asking this question here so I would appreciate some advice.

I had a chemical miscarriage 12 days ago and the last few days I've noticed my "normal fertile/ovulation" symptoms. I had a chemical just 2 weeks before I conceived Georgia but that was almost 2 years ago so can't really remember much. I had sex on both Sunday and Tuesday just incase I was ovulating like normal. I've had a lot of clear EWCM - a lot more than normal which makes me believe the theory that your more fertile after a loss. Tender breasts and more interested in sex. Does it sound like I'm ovulating like normal? I'm praying for a sticky baby this time round.

Again like I said, I know there is a site called Countdown to pregnancy for questions like this, but I would prefer to ask it here. I would appreciate any input. Thanks ladies xx

i just had a miscarriage from my chemical pregnancy too. Even though I didn;t see a sac or a baby, I felt my body changing and I do get depressed every now and then Going for a followup check this weekend and I'm worried. I hope everything is ok. I want to try again but worried I won't be able to bare another loss.

I hope all goes well with you. Think positive

You can almost treat chemical pregnancies like a period. You usually ovulate two weeks after of you are on a normal 28 day cycle

I conceived twins 2 weeks after a chemical in 2011. I ended up losing them at 18 weeks, but I think you are very fertile after a chem. preg

Thank you Emma. I also conceived my daughter the month after my last chemical and she is just turned one so I'm hopeful. Thanks and I hope to see you when I'm back here in a week or so with a positive test! X
