Q: Labor is approaching, how many days does it take for the mucas stuff to come out?

I have been on bed rest for 7 weeks for pre term labor. They have had to stop the labor 3 times since week 28. At 35.3 weeks I had brown bleeding and found out I was now 3cm and 100% effaced. I have been dilated and effaces since week 28, but not at those numbers. The mucas plug, or what I think was the mucas plug came out the day after the released us from the hospital AGAIN. But it has been a couple days and the mucas stuff keeps coming out with a brown tinge off and on. Is this normal labor stuff? Will this just continue until I give birth? I get to get off of bed rest and stop the medication to prevent contraction at 36 wks (Sunday), so it won't be long now. But I want to make sure that it is okay to be going throught all this days or even weeks before labor.

Yea,its fine..I never even lose mine lol 3rd child ! The plugs can be lost & then they will regenerate them selves..its not a big deal, the mucus plus is just there to keep bacteria from getting in.

My due date's in 3 days and I started losing mine 2 days ago and it's still coming out in little bits. It's normal to take days or even a week to come out completely.
