Q: Anyone else seem to get contractions from primrose oil?

With my son I had issues with not dilating, even after I was induced, and ended up having a c section. With baby number 2 I've been hospitalized twice and given shots to stop ongoing contractions earlier in Pregnancy, but they weren't causing any dilation. So now starting at 34.5 weeks ive been popping holes in evening primrose oil tabs and inserting them next to my cervix. Got the OK from the Dr that if I do go into labor we can deliver without worrying. I don't mind getting another c section but if I'm going to have contractions I'd like them to do something :P every time I use EPO I seem to get contractions within about 10 minutes.that doesn't seem to mat ch info online about what its for. Is this happening to anyone else using it? Using 2000mg nightly.

I tried the evening primrose with last pregnancy and never experienced this. My doctor had said towards to end it would possibly help with becoming effaced but honestly The smell was so bad to me that I was near sickness the week and a half I attempted this. I gave up for yay for you if it is helping prep you!!
