It could be pelvic girdle pain also known as SPD.
Have a look and see if this is what playing you up:
http://www.webmd.boots.com/pregnancy/guide/pelvic-girdle-pain-pgp-spd
Page two talks about physio therapy treatment which might be worth it if it gets really bad but I know that there are other minor exercises (found by a google search) you can do yourself that will help and also things to avoid doing if this is what you feel is the cause.
Hope you get some relief soon hun x

Thanks ladies. This is my second baby but i have had round ligament pain before but this pain seemed a little more persistent that the ones i have had before. I did have a pretty active weekend and i did work out yesterday and was picking up my toddler alot,so maybe its from that. It goes away for the most part when i lay down and comes back when baby moves.

Sounds like round ligament pain. It feels like a sharp pull?? Usually 18-20 weeks is when you start feeling them with the 1st baby. It is that your belly is growing and the ligaments supporting the uterus begin to stretch and it happens more when you get up quickly, turn abruptly or even reach for things. As long as the pain goes away and there is no spotting you should be ok. I'd talk to your doc though if you are really concerned about it.
This is my 3rd pregnancy, and I started feelling it around 10 weeks or a little sooner.

Sounds similar to round ligament pain, when the uterus stretches and strains the ligaments in the groin holding it in place. I'm only 7 weeks but I get the same pains. If you notice the pain doesn't subside or it becomes severe, then go to the doctor in case of another cause. Good luck and hope your pregnancy is a safe one! :)
