My first was breech the whole time and I ended up with a C-section. I tried two inversions (28 and 31 weeks), with no success. I tried Webber method, acupuncture, music at pelvis, laying upside down, etc. I really didn't want a c, but had an unproven pelvis, so a vaginal breech delivery would have been very risky. If this is your third pregnancy you might ask them about a vaginal breech delivery. There is still some risk and they should be prepared for an emergency C, but there are lots of successes too. I would talk over the scenarios with them.
I also want to mention that the c-section, should you end up with one, isn't as bad as you think it will be. They are common now-days and a good surgeon will have you good as new in 4-6 weeks. I was up and walking fine by day 4-5 and even doing sit ups by week 4-5. I still have a scar, but you can't see it with undies/bikini, its about an inch into my hairline just above my pubic bone. Wax before your C, so they can cut really low.

My first went head down at 28 weeks, my second was at 33 weeks, my forth was sideways up to delivery where they had me switch positions every half hour to get him head down and I gave birth naturally and now with this one I am 32 weeks and he has been head down for the last two weeks.

I'm in my 32nd week with my first and it is breech still, starting to make me a little nervous as less room to turn the later it gets especially with first babies. There is a website called spinning babies which gives positions to try and help coax to head down position. I am going to book an appt with my acupuncturist as there are things they can do to help. But trying not to worry as we still have plenty of time apparently!

Mine was head down by 28 or 29 weeks. But there's no need to worry, you still have plenty of time for baby to turn. I think around 36/37 weeks if baby isn't head down your doctor may talk to you about trying to coax the baby to turn. Sometimes they can push on the baby from the outside to get them to turn
