Q: Pre booking c section.

Hi Im due on the 25th august and have to have a section. in the past I have had them 1.week early, this makes it The 19th which is the day my bf an kids go abroad, does anyone know if I Can request going in maybe 10 days or so early, So They are here for the birth?

It will be my 5th c section so I am high risk I know they will take me at 39 but hoping I can ask for 38 . I will ask anyway no harm in trying an Il obviously only do it If its safe for baby an myself. x

I can't think of the name of the organization but I've heard elective C-sections aren't recommended until the 39th week. Unless medically necessary it will depend on your hospital or doctor. It's best for your baby too to let them cook a little longer;)

I think it all depends on your doctor, I know my doctor starts them at 37 weeks if the baby is healthy.
