Q: Does the stomach shape matter?

I Am 34 Weeks Pregnant.
I had My Ultrasound at 18 Weeks , Were I was Told I Was Having A GIRL . But everyone is saying I'm having a boy because of the way my stomach is shaped. I'm scared because we got everything for a girl already. Does the shape of your stomach really matter? /: I have another ultrasound when I'm 36 Weeks.

I carried almost identical with my son and daughter. Shape means nothing.

I agree with the other girls.. There is no possible way to tell the gender by the shape of your belly and would trust the ultrasound tech that is trained to know these things. :)

Ultrasounds at 18 weeks are very accurate for determining gender. The shape of your belly depends on your height/body shape. I have a long torso so I carry low. My girl also dropped during the beginning of my third trimester too though lol

I think one is an old wives tale. :) I find the shape of my belly changes day by day and some days I'll have people tell me they think it's a girl, other days other people will say they think it's a boy. We've been told we're having a girl.

The ultrasound would have been a much more reliable way of determining the sex of your little one. I'd trust your ultrasound tech and not the shape of your belly.
