Q: Early labour-Raspberry Tea Leaf Capsuals & Evening Primrose Oil

Any success stories ladies.
I'm 37 weeks and scheduled to be induced within a couple of weeks for medical reasons. This will be my second child. Trying to get labour naturally started without being induced. My midwife today said to insert primrose oil up as close to the cervix as possible as it helps really soften them. Oh I had to put a pin prick in the capsual before inserting and to also take the raspberry leaf that has also been proven to help to naturally induce labour.
I'm not usually big into all these remedies but the midwife said to do it and try so here we are. I always think a baby will come when it's ready despite what we naturally try and do. But I'm trying these things anyway. No way will I take caster oil.
Any stories ladies :-) thank you

I am an herbalist, and do strongly believe in natural remedies, including some helping to speed up labor, BUT labor and delivery cannot be forced before it is ready. I agree with you that it will happen only when it is ready.
