Q: Slow labour?

I've had two childern and with both labours I knew that it was the real deal, but with one im not sure what's going on. Baby has been moving about a lot.

The last to nights I've had cramps and back ache, the back ache has been really bad, my tummy has been going hard but feels nothing like the other to labours. I've had sharp pains going in to my cervixs. But come morning it's all gone. I haven't lost my mucus plug with my son I lost it a week b4 having him and with my daughter I didn't lose till I was in active labour.

Is my body gearing up for the real thing? Just confused really. anyone had this happen? Thanks

Sounds like your Braxton hicks still. I usually will do the lay down and nap test. If I can make it through a tv show just relaxing then I know its not real labor. Drink lots of water to stay hydrated. Wishing you a quick labor when it does happen!!

My son was 3 days late, ,my daughter id say 1 day she was due on the 25th but had her 1.30am on the 27th. Hoping this one will be abit earlier. Had a feeling from the start. Time will tell, ????

It does sound like your body is prepping for labor. It shouldn't be much longer now! With your past pregnancies, did the babes come on their due date or a day before?
